Here are some of the images which didn't quite make it into the final 3 used in the visual storytelling assessment.

While photographing around Frankston I had a really interesting conversation with a stallholder at the Frankston Bazaar (a kind of indoor antiques market). She had been a jeweller her whole life and was kind enough to show me her very eclectic collection. I wish I had been able to include these shots into the final assessment somehow but I felt there was just no way I could connect it with the themes around Peggy's story.

I consider myself a quiet person most of the time so whenever I undertake a street photography project it's always a battle within myself to reach out to someone who looks interesting and strike up a conversation with them. But every time I do it is always such a positive experience. I think everyone has a story to tell and its not every day you have a "journalist" to tell it to so when people get that chance they really take it and run with it. It's a very transformative experience for me. I go from being a run of the mill customer to all of a sudden being told about the owner's deeply personal beliefs and aspirations. It is a real privilege and I am always greatful for the trust that strangers put in me.
